February 1, 2002, Newsletter Issue #17: Why Frames are bad!

Tip of the Week

It used to be that some browsers could not even render a "framed" site. Thatīs probably not an issue anymore. But, inherently, frames are just a bad idea in all but a few cases.

You need that screen space to show content. Search engines have problems indexing framed pages. These are all good reasons to avoid frames!
